The Green Pin® Wide Mouth Bow Shackle with Fixed Nut Safety Pin (GPWMFN) is a Grade 8 alloy steel shackle engineered for high-vibration lifting and dynamic load applications. Featuring a hot-dip galvanised finish, fixed nut safety pin, and Nord-Lock® wedge-locking washers, it ensures superior safety and reliability under extreme vibration or dynamic conditions.
With a minimum breaking load of 6× W.L.L. and a temperature range from –20°C to +200°C, the GPWMFN is ideal for offshore, construction, and industrial lifting operations.

Description
The Green Pin® GPWMFN Wide Mouth Bow Shackle with Fixed Nut Safety Pin is designed for situations where extra security and vibration resistance are critical. Manufactured from Grade 8 quenched and tempered alloy steel, it provides maximum strength and durability while maintaining ductility under heavy dynamic loads.
The fixed nut safety pin is complemented by AISI 316 securing bolts drilled through the nut and shackle pin, ensuring the connection remains secure during intensive lifting operations. The Nord-Lock® wedge-locking washers automatically lock when exposed to vibration, guaranteeing the pin does not loosen, even under extreme dynamic or offshore conditions.
Compliant with ASME B30.26, each shackle is hot-dip galvanised to provide corrosion protection in harsh marine and industrial environments. The GPWMFN is suitable for offshore, subsea lifting, construction, and high-vibration applications, providing peace of mind in critical load-handling scenarios.
