Description
The Green Pin® Standard Dee Shackle with Fixed Nut Safety Pin (GPSADFN) is engineered for reliability, vibration resistance, and strength in high-demand lifting and rigging applications. Built from Grade 6 high-tensile quenched and tempered steel, it complies with BS EN 13889, ASME B30.26, and US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 2 Grade A standards.
Each shackle is hot-dip galvanised for enhanced durability and corrosion protection in marine and offshore environments. The design features a fixed nut and AISI 316 stainless-steel securing bolt, drilled through both the nut and pin for maximum safety. The Nord-Lock® wedge-locking washer system ensures that the connection remains tight even under extreme vibration or cyclic loads, providing an additional layer of mechanical security.
Designed to operate reliably in a temperature range of –20 °C to +200 °C, this shackle delivers a minimum breaking load equal to six times the Working Load Limit (W.L.L.), making it ideal for offshore lifting, transport rigging, construction, and heavy industrial operations.
