The Green Pin Power Sling® Shackle – GPPOW sets a new benchmark for high-capacity lifting efficiency. Constructed from Grade 8 alloy steel, quenched and tempered for superior strength, each shackle is silver-painted with the signature green-painted pin for durability and quick identification.
Its unique, patented geometry delivers the widest bow (+10 %) in the market, offering an optimal D/d ratio that minimises sling stress and reduces rope and wire wear. This innovation allows users to save up to 20 % on synthetic or wire rope costs while maintaining full lifting performance.
Every GPPOW shackle is individually proof-tested to twice the Working Load Limit (W.L.L.), far exceeding industry norms. To guarantee total integrity, the shackles undergo MPI, ultrasonic, and X-ray inspection, with RFID chips embedded in both the body and pin for traceability and smart asset management.
Operating safely between –40°C and +200°C, the Power Sling range is ideal for offshore, heavy lifting, and critical rigging operations. It’s available with full documentation and CAD support to ensure seamless integration into engineering workflows.
