Description

The Green Pin Super® Bow Shackle with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPSUP) combines maximum lifting strength with precision engineering for the world’s toughest lifting challenges.

Each shackle is manufactured from Grade 8 alloy steel, quenched and tempered for optimal toughness and fatigue resistance. The hot-dip galvanised finish (or durable painted coating for 175 t capacity) provides long-term corrosion protection, making it suitable for marine, offshore, and heavy industrial applications.

The bolt-type safety pin and nut configuration delivers maximum security during use — ideal for permanent or critical lifts. Models of 150 t and 175 t include a round-headed bolt for additional structural integrity.

The GPSUP series meets the W.L.L. performance criteria of ASME B30.26 and US Federal Specification RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 3 Grade B, with a minimum breaking load (MBL) of 5 × W.L.L. Operating safely in temperatures from –20 °C to +200 °C, it’s built to perform across all conditions.

Each unit is clearly marked with CE, W.L.L., traceability code, manufacturer ID, and material grade. Full CAD files and certification packages (2.1, 3.1, MTC, DoC, LROS) are available on request.
