Description
The Green Pin® Tapered Pin ROV Release & Retrieve Shackle with Fishtail Handle – GPROV5361F is purpose-built for remote offshore and subsea lifting operations using ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles). Manufactured from Grade 8 polar quality alloy steel, the shackle delivers high strength and durability in extreme marine environments, maintaining performance from –60°C up to +200°C.
This version features a fishtail handle, designed for easy manipulation by ROV claws, ensuring accurate positioning and controlled release. Its white-painted body and green-painted pin maximise underwater visibility, while the minimum breaking load (MBL) equals 5 times the Working Load Limit (W.L.L.), guaranteeing outstanding safety performance.
The shackle is supplied without wires, allowing operators to custom design their wiring plans for specific subsea configurations.
