Description

The Green Pin® Spring Release ROV Shackle – GPROV5367 is designed specifically for ROV-operated offshore lifting and subsea handling. Manufactured from Grade 8 polar quality alloy steel, the shackle ensures outstanding performance and reliability in temperatures from –40°C to +200°C.

Each unit features a spring release mechanism, allowing remote operation by an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) for safe engagement and release in deep-water environments. The white-painted body and green-painted pin provide clear underwater visibility, while the 5:1 safety factor guarantees strength and reliability under extreme load conditions.

From 42.5t to 150t W.L.L., the shackle is assembled with wire rope slings and a monkey’s fist to support ROV handling. A special compression tool (sold separately) is required for assembly. Full CAD files are available on request for system integration and project planning.

The GPROV5367 conforms to ASME B30.26 and comes with full traceable certification including 2.1, 3.1, DoC, and LROS, making it suitable for critical offshore, subsea, and oil & gas lifting operations.
