Description
The Green Pin® Sling Shackle Bow Type with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPSL) is a high-capacity lifting component engineered for safety, reliability, and compliance with global lifting standards. Fabricated from Grade 8 alloy steel, both the body and pin are quenched and tempered for exceptional mechanical strength and resilience under heavy loads.
Shackles up to 55 tonnes are hot-dipped galvanised for enhanced corrosion protection, while shackles 75 tonnes and above feature a silver-painted body and green-painted pin for increased durability and visibility.
Each GPSL shackle maintains a minimum breaking load of 5 × W.L.L. and operates reliably between –20°C and +200°C. With a 5% forging tolerance on internal width and length, the GPSL range provides exceptional dimensional consistency across lifting applications.
Fully compliant with ASME B30.26, each shackle is traceable and supplied with full certification options including 2.1, 3.1, DoC, LROS, MPI, and US. This makes the GPSL range a trusted choice for heavy lifting across construction, offshore, and industrial operations.
