Description
The Green Pin Polar® Bow Shackle with Fixed Nut Safety Pin (GPPOLFN) is the ultimate choice for lifting operations in arctic and low-temperature environments. Made from Grade 8 alloy steel, quenched and tempered for superior performance, it maintains full working load capacity down to –60°C, ensuring safety and reliability where standard shackles cannot perform.
Its hot-dip galvanised finish offers maximum corrosion resistance, while the fixed nut safety pin system provides outstanding protection against accidental loosening under dynamic load. Each unit incorporates an AISI 316 stainless-steel securing bolt drilled through both nut and pin, complemented by Nord-Lock® wedge-locking washers that prevent rotation and loss under vibration or shock loading.
The GPPOLFN series meets the highest international lifting standards, including ASME B30.26 and US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271, and carries a minimum breaking load 5× the W.L.L. for superior safety.
