Description

The Green Pin® Guided Pin ROV Shackle with Fishtail Handle – GPROV5362F delivers superior control, safety, and precision in subsea ROV lifting and release operations. Built from Grade 8 polar-quality alloy steel, the shackle is quenched and tempered for maximum strength and reliability in temperatures from –60 °C up to +200 °C.

A guided-pin system ensures the pin aligns perfectly through the shackle eyes, eliminating misalignment during remote operations. This feature guarantees optimal efficiency and helps prevent equipment wear or operational delays. The integrated lifting eye on the guiding tube assists ROV operators in balancing the shackle, ensuring the pin cannot fall out of the tube.

The Fishtail handle design provides a large, stable gripping surface, ideal for ROV claws or manipulators, enabling easy operation even in strong subsea currents or low visibility environments. The innovative anti-rotation lock system further enhances safety by preventing the pin from accidentally turning counterclockwise and loosening.

Delivered fully assembled and ready to use, the shackle is supplied without wiring so you can custom-design your wiring configuration to suit project needs. The white-painted body and green-painted pin enhance subsea visibility for ROV identification and alignment.

Ideal for subsea lifting, offshore construction, and dynamic load operations, this shackle complies with ASME B30.26 and is available in a full range of W.L.L capacities up to 55 tonnes.
