Description
The Pewag KWB Grade 8 Three Leg Ready-Made Chain Sling is engineered for multi-point lifting applications where improved load distribution and stability are required. Manufactured from Super Alloy Grade 80 steel and assembled in accordance with EN 818-4, this chain sling provides outstanding performance, durability and safety in demanding industrial environments.
Three leg chain slings are particularly effective when lifting irregularly shaped or uneven loads, as the additional leg helps stabilise the load and allows it to self-level when correctly rigged. The Pewag KWB system ensures full compatibility across all Grade 80 chain components, delivering a consistent and reliable lifting solution.
Available in chain sizes ranging from 6mm to 13mm, the Pewag KWB three leg chain sling offers high working load limits while maintaining a 4:1 safety factor. A choice of sling terminations, including latch hooks, C hooks or self-locking safety hooks, allows the sling to be configured to suit specific lifting methods and site safety requirements.
Optional shortening grab hooks can be fitted to individual legs, enabling precise adjustment of the effective working length (reach). This makes it easier to balance uneven loads without the need for additional lifting accessories, improving efficiency and control during lifting operations.
Each Pewag KWB three leg chain sling is supplied complete with a Declaration of Conformity and comprehensive safe use instructions, supporting compliance with LOLER regulations and recognised lifting best practices.
