Description
The Green Pin® Standard Bow Shackle with Fixed Nut Safety Pin (GPSABFN) combines strength, safety, and vibration resistance for reliable load handling in critical lifting applications. Manufactured from Grade 6 quenched and tempered high-tensile steel, each shackle meets or exceeds the stringent requirements of BS EN 13889, ASME B30.26, and US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 2 Grade A.
Each unit is hot-dip galvanised for long-term corrosion protection and fitted with a fixed nut and AISI 316 stainless-steel securing bolt, drilled through both the nut and the pin for extra safety. The Nord-Lock® wedge-locking washer system ensures the assembly remains locked even when subjected to extreme vibration or dynamic loading, preventing accidental loosening in heavy-duty applications.
Designed for performance in a temperature range of –20 °C to +200 °C, this shackle offers a minimum breaking load of six times the W.L.L., making it the trusted choice for offshore lifting, transport rigging, and high-integrity industrial operations.
