Built to the strict NS 9415 standard and featuring a hot-dip galvanised finish, it ensures optimal safety, strength, and corrosion resistance in harsh saltwater environments.
With a minimum breaking load of 6× W.L.L., and a temperature range of –40°C to +200°C, this Green Pin® shackle guarantees reliability in demanding operations.

Description
The Green Pin® NS9415 Bow Shackle with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPSABNS) delivers superior performance and compliance for critical offshore and aquaculture installations. Precision-manufactured from Grade 6 quenched and tempered high tensile steel, the shackle offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and long-term durability.
Its hot-dip galvanised coating provides maximum protection against corrosion and marine exposure. The safety nut and bolt pin system ensures a secure, vibration-resistant connection—ideal for continuous load applications and mooring systems in accordance with NS 9415.
Fully compliant with BS EN 13889, ASME B30.26, and US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271, the GPSABNS range also carries DNV NS 9415 certification, making it suitable for regulated aquaculture operations and offshore mooring configurations.
Each unit maintains a minimum breaking load 6× the working load limit (W.L.L.), with full CAD files and documentation available upon request.
