The Green Pin® Flush Fishing Dee Shackle with Double Safety Plug (GPFFDS) is a Grade 6 high tensile steel shackle engineered specifically for offshore, marine, and aquaculture environments. Featuring a hot-dip galvanised finish for superior corrosion resistance and double safety system in compliance with NS 9415, it ensures optimal safety in dynamic and submerged conditions.
Each shackle offers a minimum breaking load of 7 × W.L.L. and a temperature range of –40°C to +200°C, delivering exceptional reliability in extreme marine environments.

Description
The Green Pin® Flush Fishing Dee Shackle with Double Safety Plug (GPFFDS) sets the industry standard for secure, long-life connections in fishing, aquaculture, and offshore mooring systems. Manufactured from Grade 6 quenched and tempered high tensile steel, this shackle provides outstanding strength, fatigue resistance, and long-term performance under demanding load cycles.
Its hot-dip galvanised coating ensures superior protection against saltwater corrosion, while the flush design prevents snagging and mechanical damage during trawling or mooring operations. The double safety plug system, designed according to NS 9415, offers redundancy and security—ideal for critical marine installations where failure is not an option.
Conforming to NS 9415, BS EN 13889, and ASME B30.26, the GPFFDS shackle is certified for use in professional offshore and aquaculture operations. Each unit has a minimum breaking load equal to seven times the working load limit (7 × W.L.L.), demonstrating its exceptional safety margin.
