The Green Pin® Standard Bow Shackle with Safety Nut and Bolt Pin (GPSAB) combines superior strength, enhanced safety, and outstanding corrosion resistance in one robust lifting solution.

Manufactured from Grade 6 high-tensile steel that is quenched and tempered, this shackle provides exceptional durability and performance. The hot-dip galvanised finish ensures protection against corrosion, making it ideal for marine, offshore, and industrial environments.

Featuring a safety nut, bolt, and split pin design, the GPSAB offers an extra level of security, preventing accidental loosening during lifting operations. This makes it the preferred choice for permanent or long-term lifting and rigging installations.

Fully compliant with BS EN 13889 (0.5 t – 25 t) and meeting the performance requirements of US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA, Class 2, Grade A, the GPSAB also conforms to ASME B30.26 from 2 t and upward. For shackles rated ≥ 2t, DNV 2.7-1 type-approved options are available, ensuring compliance with offshore container lifting standards.

Each unit is tested to deliver a Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) equal to 6× the Working Load Limit (WLL), and performs reliably within a –40 °C to +200 °C temperature range.
