Description
The Crosby G-210 Screw Pin Chain Shackle is engineered for maximum strength, safety, and durability in demanding lifting and rigging applications. Forged, quenched, and tempered from high-quality alloy steel, each shackle is permanently marked with its Working Load Limit (WLL) and grade 6 rating, ensuring clear identification and compliance with industry standards.
Sizes 7/16” and above are hot-dip galvanized, while smaller sizes are mechanically galvanized, providing superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments. Fatigue rated for repeated use, the G-210 can be proof tested and certified to ABS, DNV, Lloyds, or other standards upon request, making it suitable for certified lifting operations.
Designed to operate safely in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to 204°C (400°F), the shackle can also meet Charpy impact requirements for special applications. It complies with ASME B30.26, Federal Specification RR-C-271G Type IVB, Grade A, Class 2, and features a 6:1 design factor with a maximum proof load of 2x WLL and a minimum ultimate strength of 6x WLL.
