Description
The Camlok® MR Fixed Multi-Rail Grab is engineered to safely and efficiently lift multiple rails at once, making it ideal for rail yards, steel stockholders, and fabrication workshops. Each grab uses swiveling toes that locate under the rail-head and a cam-action top clamp that presses a hard rubber-lined horizontal beam onto the rails, preventing surface marking and damage.
For optimal stability, it is recommended to use two grabs per rail set at center distances of 50–60% of the rail length for rails up to 20 m. For rails longer than 20 m, three grabs should be used at 65–75% center spacing between the outer clamps. All rails must be of the same section size, stacked with bottom flange toes touching. The master link used is A8W26 (100 mm x 180 mm).
The MR grab is ideal for rapid loading, unloading, and repositioning of rails while maintaining the integrity of the rail surfaces.
