The Camlok® CZ Heavy Duty Vertical Plate Clamp is engineered for challenging industrial lifting applications, providing a reliable solution for transporting, lifting, and rotating steel plates and fabrications in the vertical position. With an impressive Working Load Limit (WLL) spanning 1,000 to 30,000 kg, the CZ Series is the trusted choice for heavy fabrication workshops, steel processing plants, and construction environments.
The clamp’s design features a locking lever mechanism that allows the operator to easily open and close the jaw. Once engaged, a spring-loaded safety lock ensures the cam jaw stays securely closed, even when no load is applied—providing essential protection against accidental release.
Constructed with a fully welded body and high-tensile steel jaws, the CZ clamp delivers enhanced durability and long service life under continuous heavy usage. Its design also enables full 180° lifting and rotation, allowing plates to be raised from horizontal to vertical and back again, supporting flexible load orientation during handling and installation.
The clamp can also be used for lifting steel structures and profiles, making it a versatile choice for multi-application lifting operations. For long or flexible plates, Camlok recommends using a pair of clamps in tandem with a spreader beam to prevent sagging and maximise stability.
