The Camlok® CY Hinged Vertical Plate Clamp is a versatile lifting solution engineered for safe and efficient handling of steel plates, fabricated components, and welded constructions. Featuring a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 1,000 to 3,000 kg, this clamp stands out for its ability to securely lift loads at multiple angles, thanks to its innovative hinged hook ring design.

The hinged hook ring ensures that adequate clamping force is applied in any lifting position, significantly reducing the risk of slipping or clamp damage—even during two-leg lifting operations of large, flexible plates. This unique design feature also allows the CY clamp to be attached to a plate from virtually any direction, giving operators exceptional flexibility during rigging and lifting.

One of the key benefits of the CY Series is its ability to lift longer plates without requiring a spreader beam. When used in pairs with a two-leg chain sling, the hinged ring automatically adjusts to maintain optimum grip, providing consistent performance in multi-angle operations. This makes the CY clamp an efficient choice for workshops and construction sites handling long or awkward steel sections.

The clamp features a cam-operated closing mechanism for secure engagement, which can also be replaced with a chain-pull open/close mechanism if preferred.
